Your countries visited map, stamped in ink

Inkpass is an iPhone app that turns every country you have visited into an ink stamp in an album and a colored patch on a world map. Pick your countries in about a minute, share a card, and compare maps with a friend through one link. It needs no account.

How does Inkpass count the countries you have visited?

Open the app and tap through a grid of country silhouettes, sorted by continent, with a search box that understands common aliases in English and Russian. Each tap adds one stamp. A counter at the bottom rolls up as you go, and long-pressing a country lets you mark it as Been, Lived or Want to go.

The base list is 195 countries: the 193 UN member states and the 2 UN observer states. The counting rules let you decide whether territories, the four UK nations and airport layovers add to your number.

What do you get after the first pick?

The stamps drop into your album one by one while the map fills in continent colors behind them. Three numbers roll up: countries, share of the world, and continents. Then the World Card appears, with your count, a title built from your stamps and your rarest stamp.

The rarest stamp is the country among yours with the lowest yearly international tourist arrivals in World Bank Open Data. Titles follow plain rules. Four or more continents earns Continental Collector, for example.

The whole first run needs no account, no sign-in and no permission prompt.

How do you compare maps with a friend?

Send the link the app creates. Your friend opens it in the browser, taps the countries they have visited, and sees both maps on one world with the overlap counted. They do not need the app, and neither of you needs an account.

A group version, called a crew, holds up to 8 maps in one link. Read more on the compare maps page.

What is an Arrival Stamp?

When you land somewhere new, tap Stamp where I am. Inkpass checks your location once, matches it to a country on the phone and makes a postmark-style arrival card with the date and a running number, such as Country No. 25. You can also pick the country by hand if you prefer to keep location off.

Where does your data live?

On your iPhone. If iCloud is on, a copy is mirrored to your private iCloud so a new phone can restore it. A Backup link and a JSON file export give you two more ways out. The app has no analytics or tracking SDK. Details are in the privacy page and in backup and restore.

What is free and what is Pro?

Unlimited countries, the World Card, arrival cards, Overlap and Crew links, counting rules, backup and dark mode are free. Inkpass Pro adds states and provinces for 9 countries, over 33,000 cities, dated visit history, the full Year in Travel story and extra card styles, as covered in regions and cities.

Pro is a weekly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan shows a 7-day free trial when you are eligible. Prices appear on the purchase screen in your local currency.

Which languages and devices does it support?

Inkpass runs on iPhone in English and Russian and follows the system light or dark setting, with a manual override in Settings. It is currently in development, so there is no App Store link yet. The guides cover counting countries, passport stamps and map sharing while you wait.
